Merritt Mulman, Co-Owner:

After a twenty year career in human services and executive positions in various non-profit organizations Merritt Mulman opened Senior Helpers – Boston North in 2008.  He did so after seeing the meaningful impact caregivers played in his own family.  Merritt’s professional experience includes time with the United Way, The Jewish Federation of the North Shore, and Duke University.  As a community volunteer he has worked extensively to coordinate services and raise money for early childhood education.  Merritt graduated from Harvard University and received a Masters degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  He is the proud father a son at UMass Amherst and a daughter in middle school.  Merritt’s wife is a Associate Professor at Salem State College.

Mark H. Friedman, Co- Owner:

Mark leads our sales, marketing and business relationships in the Boston North Healthcare community.  He comes to Senior Helpers Boston North from industry where he spent almost two decades leading major business change across numerous Fortune 1000 companies and their equivalent abroad.  He has founded two consulting practices and served as a senior executive with a major global sportswear brand.   He is active in the Boston North Jewish Community having served as the founding president of Congregation Shirat Hayam of Marblehead/Swampscott.  Mark holds a BA from the University of Virginia and Masters degree from Carnegie Mellon University.  Mark is married to Carolyn, a professor at Tufts University.  They have two daughters.

Pam Carroll, Registered Nurse, Director of Client Services and Nursing:

Pam Carroll recently joined as Director of Clinical services and Nursing.  She brings over thirty years of strong diverse experience in nursing and management.  Pam has extensive experience working with clients, families and caregivers in various settings.  Her fields of expertise include: nursing assessments, care planning, service coordination and caregiver oversight. Pam has provided educational programs to seniors, families, community organizations and facilities as well as formal education to care staff.  Pam received her RN at Lawrence Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and continued her education at Northeastern University.  Pam is dedicated to providing quality care to the older adult population and is passionate in her efforts to assist seniors in remaining safe and comfortable in their home.

Nouhad Eskanian, Scheduler:

Nouhad is a recent Dean's list graduate from Suffolk University with a BA degree in Criminology, Law and Business. She brings prior home care scheduling experience and is the primary contact for our families in adjusting care schedules and service needs.  Nouhad provides support for our office and caregivers and plays a critical role in caregiver selection.
